Coaching software for sports academies, on iPhone and iPad.
Sessions, video feedback and performance tracking in one app — for the coach courtside, and for the athletes and parents at home.
PerfHQ is used through your coaching organisation.
Accounts are created by academies and clubs, not by signing up here. If your organisation uses PerfHQ, you will be sent an invitation by email. There is no charge to athletes or their families.
What it is
PerfHQ gives a coaching organisation one place to run its athletes' training, replacing the spreadsheets, group chats and camera rolls that usually do the job separately.
Sessions are scheduled in it. Attendance is marked in it. Video is recorded and analysed in it. And the feedback that comes out of the session reaches the athlete, and their parents, in the same app.
Who it is for
For coaches
Your week at a glance, and who is waiting on you. Build a session once and repeat it. Mark attendance, record a swing, draw on it, and send structured feedback the athlete can actually act on.
For athletes
Your sessions, your feedback and your numbers over time. Watch the video your coach marked up, read what they said about it, and see whether last month's work moved anything.
For parents and guardians
One login for each child you look after. Complete their medical and consent forms, see their sessions, and read the feedback their coach sends. Access ends automatically when they turn 18.
What it does
Analysis that stays on the phone
When PerfHQ traces a body in a video, that work happens on your device using Apple's own Vision and ARKit frameworks. The joint positions it produces are written to your device and are never uploaded to us.
The app has no third-party code in it at all — no analytics, no advertising, no crash-reporting library, nothing that phones home to anyone but us. It asks for no location permission and it does not track you.
To be precise: the analysis is local and stays local. The video it was drawn from is uploaded, because coaching feedback depends on it.
Safeguarding is the constraint, not a feature
PerfHQ holds health information about children. We treat that as the defining constraint on the product rather than a feature of it.
Medical notes and emergency contacts sit behind explicit permissions, so a coach sees only what their role allows. The notes a coach writes for their own use are never visible to the athlete or their family. Guardian access to a child's record ends automatically when the child turns 18. And we do not use anyone's data to train machine-learning models.
Our privacy notice describes what the software does today, and is specific about where a right takes manual work on our side rather than a button in the app. It is worth reading before you invite anyone.
Coaches work on iPad
Coaching Mode is an iPad console for the side of the court or the range. Pick a session, pick an athlete, capture a clip, review it with them there and then, and send it before you have packed up.
It is deliberately iPad-only — it wants the screen. Everything else in PerfHQ works on both, and athletes and parents are on iPhone.
